SEMI-CONDUCTOR INDUSTRY

Capu-CellTM is utilized as a packaging barrier to protect sensitive silicone wafers and devices from damage during shipping and handling.  Capu-CellTM’s low particulate and outgassing properties offer customers the needed shipping and handling protection.

 

INDUSTRIAL/OEM PRODUCTS

Capu-CellTM hydrophilic foam is used for a variety of industrial applications where wicking and absorption is required.  Capu-CellTM is converted into many OEM parts such as wicking pads with PSA backing. 

 

IMAGING AND BUSINESS MACHINE ROLLERS

Capu-CellTM’s powerful wicking capacity lends itself to be an effective material for toner rollers in the business machine industry.  Whether applying a specific metered amount of toner ink or feeding paper, Capu-CellTM is an excellent material for foam rollers.

 

MEDICAL

Foam Sciences offers several Medical Grade Foams for Wound Care Management and Medical Devices.  Wicking pads, wound dressings and transdermal patches are just a few applications where Foam Sciences technology can be applied.

 

CLEANROOM

Our Hydrophilic Foam is converted into clean room swabs, as well as wipes for cleaning purposes in a variety of different applications.  It’s hydrophilic capacity, extremely low particulate count, and low outgassing properties make it a useful material in a clean room class environment.

 

COSMETIC AND PERSONAL HYGIENE 

Capu-CellTM is an excellent material for cosmetic wedges and personal hygiene products.  It's superior strength provides a longer lasting material but is soft to the touch.  Capu-CellTM’s cell structure is smooth and uniform with densities ranging from tissue-soft to extremely firm.
